Kelley Roy Gallery is proud to announce Handmade Horizons and Songs, a new series of oil on canvases by Sebastian Spreng.
His works, referred to by the artist as “inner landscapes”, portray the internal projections of the viewer outwards through the paintings. The canvases in rich hues and isolated figures reflect the solidarity and inter-connectedness of us all.
Sebastian Spreng has exhibited in his native Argentina, Germany, Japan, Canada, and throughout the United States, including at the Lowe Art Museum and his work has been included in Christie's New York art auctions. His current exhibit, Handmade Horizons & Songs, unites his love for music and art. This new collection was inspired by a quote by Schlegel, "In earth's variegated dream a quiet sustained note sounds through all other notes for those who secretly listen." Spreng has been an important figure in the South Florida art scene for over two decades. This is his first exhibit in the Wynwood Art District.
